I finally went to try out my water meth kit after several head retorques. It didn' work check wiring and such and seen two were crossed and the boost hose was off. Placed the hose back n the snow controller built a lil boost just to activate it and it worked. Took it out for a ride and by the time I went to try it out I had blown the damned hose off again. Gonna try super glue tomorrow. Is this common?

I use compression fittings.

Ya just slips onto the box. There is a plastic nipple that it slides on. Was gonna try the hairspray trick but, figure it might need a bit more holding power.

Ya, it's common. Mine usually lasts about 6 months or so when glued, then it pops off. Sometimes it's so loud I think I blew a boot.
 
Get ye the smallest zipties you can find, and crank the MFer down. Instant hose clamp! :hehe:
 
Superglued hit 55psi and meth worked. Sure put a strain on the sb3600.
 
You guys are spending how much for these things? And you have to super-glue the hose on? That's pretty piss poor. :bs:

Would be nice if the nipple was a lil longer to get some kind of lil clamp on it. or a pushlock fitting would even be better.
 
10mm silicone tubing works great on those, especially with 1-ear SS crimp clamps.
