2012 World Finals airs on December 6th on Fox Sports Net

Good show! Funny as hell seeing the back drop on a sunny day with Nhra packed stands lol. The beer line did have 100 people in it but stands were not that packed!
 
Yes the prostreet footage was messed up, pretty sure the footage that was added was all they had that was any good. It was really bad that the finals couldn't have been run but just as they were getting ready to go then the rain started. The H&S Truck was hurt, might have been a better call to let Team Green go ahead and make a single pass and attempt to back up the new record. I really like Randy, JJ and Mikaela, but I think the show needs a more professional sounding annnouncing crew and less of the home spun sound. Get enough of that from us drivers. That is not a put down to any of them, just my opinion as what I think would make it better, and isn't that the whole point to put on a good as show as possible so a network will want to air it? I really want to thank Randy and all the NHRDA crew for the great job they did this year. Hopefully 2013 will be even better.
 
I think Peyton Hugie spelling? might have actually said, "Swelled a piston spraying too much nitrous." It was hard to tell so Swole, you'll have to be the judge when you watch it.

What I do know is that it's extremely easy to get flustered when you open the door after being towed to the pits and have a camera being shoved in your face. All this after beating Sullivan (with a new personal best) to move into the finals...needless to say there was some adrenaline involved!

I thought they did a great job with the show, it's obviously altered a bit from what actually happened but I think they do that in an attempt to make it seem more fluid and dramatic. The show has certainly come a long way since the first episode.

Can't wait for 2013! *nx*
 
I know Randy had some major un-expected last minute issues come up during the week of the event, and he powered through and got it done. I'm amazed he even was able to put on the event as well as getting a show produced. Shows the level of commitment of Randy and the NHRDA staff have. Was it the best show of the year, not IMHO (I really liked Edmonton). Still way better than any other diesel show on the air!

I only got to see the last 25 minutes, but for the record I thought he said "Swoled" too! Greg, you should be proud of keeping yours together so long we no longer refer to it as "Dockboying" an engine!

Glad I wasn't the only one distracted by the "bathroom stall" sound quality of the announcing audio. Overall a great show though!

Haha i was thinking the same thing the whole time.

I thought the show was pretty good though. Much better coverage and much more informative... hopefully the sled pullers can follow it a little easier now. :kick:
