I'm going to just keep calling it the "HD Fab Truck" since Toolman put all the work into it. I will be putting my own motor into it, it is being broke down and freshened up at the moment. Will also be running a Legendary rh for the trans, and Lee's 5x.020's. 160 pump was put together by Ryan Lenahan. Also got all my valvetrain parts from him, except the cam which is staying stock for the time being. Mostly because of funding, but also a little to see what can be done with it. Manifold will be a stainless T4.
So I picked up the HD fab truck. Going to swap the dually motor into it. Got it pulled last night at toolman's shop, and got it home where I'm going to start cleaning it next week. Still just need a converter and injectors and it's ready to go.
Gonna need lots of cleaning...
What stall you guys think I should get the converter? It's a 3200lb truck with an 83/92/1.0 T4 single, and I will be using a line-lock. I was thinking at least 2500.
I talked to a builder, and at first they said 2300, until I told them I lock up in 2nd and I'm running a larger single, then they said go with a 2500. So I guess I'll try that, if it doesn't work so well, then I'll go straight to 3000.
360,xxx when pulled last week. Perfect cross hatching in all 6. A couple pistons had chunks of crap I'm gonna call carbon, because i can't see any thing wrong with anything.
