Joined the CR World.

We joined the CR crowd back In 06, then we gave it the one finger salute in 2012. Now it goes clack clack clack just like my 94, but has all the refinements of a third gen. :D

That would be something I would love to do. If I didn't have any budget restrictions... LOL

Pinky knows whats up. Haha for those that don't know, the trucks name is Jolene. Yes, like the song from Dolly Parton.

Black on the wheels or at least some black.

I'm still deciding man. Can't make up my mind.

Here are some better pictures.

Even a machined look is nice. Black is now way overplayed.

Chrome nicely done looks awesome no matter what.

If you go black, get black fender flares, black out the front bumper chrome, dark tint, tinted headlights.

Paint match the grill, debadge the whole thing and get rid of the steps, then some
Black or black and machined wheels.

Do not listen to Jon on his black ideas, he is retarded. For gods sake what ever you do, do NOT put fender flairs on that truck.

Those mud flaps would have to go too :lolly:

A word of (sound?) advice, thet you probably already have been doing.
Find out about any and all "demons" these trucks have, learn about them, if you can't remember them, write them down or otherwise record or bookmark them.

I recently bought an '03 6 speed Q/C, myself and there's not much I can't figure out or find on this and other sites.

There is no reason to fear that box, with the ball of spaghetti attached to it, in the engine compartment.
That box is the least of the potential problems these trucks can have and it will likely be the thing that helps, not hinders.

Mark.

For once, I agree with Rick.

Yessir, I'm way ahead of ya on that. I always read on different years of trucks no matter what year I own. Hell I even read up on engines other than Cummins, Duramax, Powerstroke, etc. Knowledge is power, ya know? ;)

For the love of God please do not put fender flares on it.....ESPECIALLY if they aren't painted!

In my opinion, it's the quickest way to ruin a perfectly nice truck
