Here's another one after about a week of owning it. Running boards are off took the wheels off and clean the chrome wheels obese pretty pleased with myself when it turned out to be a clean truck for $4,500

Well lets just. Jump into the build why don't we! About 4 months ago I started the build taking my truck apart my main intention was to making a racing/pulling truck. Numerous people have asked why tear into a perfectly good truck with only 219k miles? Well I wanted to rebuild the truck in memory of a friend who passed away in a roll over on March 15, 2013.

Nothing to do with the build but girlfriend just bought herself a 2001. needs a little work transmission wise and it will be a good truck. bought her new Bilstein shocks and a leveling kit since I haven't spent much money on her due to the build. here's a picture.

Keep up the good work young man, and keep the pictures comin'!

Thanks! It's a long ways from being together. I still need new piston's though. Since they got the wrong ones. So marine piston's and ceramnic coating.

I believe the stock connecting rods are good to like 1000hp... Sooo ya, I would just get your engine balanced and spend the rest of that money on the cyl head or something else.
