Remote Trans coolers

I've got a similar Derale cooler on my Dakota and it works great. Very nice piece that looked well built.

A lot of guys are running that Cooler from the searching I've done.

Those look pretty nice! About how much was the small one?

I'm currently running the stock Trans cooler and NO heat exchanger, but we havent seen the hot summer temps yet here in Louisiana. If running only one stock trans cooler wont keep up then I was looking at this:

I have a B&M unit I am planning to sell. Not sure if that helps or not.

I've also used those Griffin coolers. I put two of the large ones on an offroad jeep, one for engine oil and one for trans oil. Engine oil temp and trans oil temp stay between 160-180 continuous.

The griffin's come with the fans premounted - small is $350ish, large is $520ish.

Mine is mounted between bedside and frame, just forward of passenger front spring hanger and hangs from a mount I made connecting to bed. The fan on that ****er moves some air.
 
I just moved my stock trans cooler to the back of the truck. Located where the spare tire was originally located.
Mounted a Mark VIII electric fan to it, and added another external filter.
