If you've done a nv4500 to g56 in a 24v. Truck already has south bend dual disc with the bigger input. What's gotta be changed? It is 4x4.
The NV5600 prices can get outrageous also. Can usually pick up a perfectly good g56 for about 1500 bucks.Longer driveshafts and a new crossmember. Im sure you will need longer transfer case linkage as well. Whats the reason for going g56 over an nv5600? The g56 transmissions can get outrageously pricey even just doing synchro and bearings. Might want to consider that.
Did the nv4500 to nv6500 in my truck, only needed the longer t-case linkage, longer front drive shaft, and shorter rear shaft.
