my dad always had one til he drove a company pos truck. all that is true but I liked riding in it...it always freaked me out as a kid tho cuz when he rolled up on traffic he would seem like he was getting so close to the car in front.
still..love the look. idk bout the ride..i wasn't old enough to drive it

Actually, I did like it very much when I was there in 2005. The people were amazingly friendly to Americans (big change from having just left Paris).

However, 2005 was a very different time it seems.

I also didn't find anyone like Leiffi while I was there either...that would have definitely changed my opinion of them...

I dont want to cheat boost sensor, engine will not behave right. That would be too retarded american way to solve that problem.

I called BoostEngineering in Quebec, first he said he can do it but havent heard about him since.. Is there someone more professional in USA ?

Regulator only bleeds off boost over the pressure you set it at, it doesn’t change anything below that point.

So your super Volvo turbo won’t support more than 960 unless it makes more pressure? I think your bother Kurt did better than that with a single off the shelf HX.

Everyone knows more boost pressure means more power. Duh

Oh and Louis won’t call you back because he probably knows your a douche. Funny I’ve dealt with him twice and he always got right back to me. Probably when you said Volvo he knew you were a dickbeater.

Same with a voltage clamp. Limits voltage back to the ecm at whatever you set it at. Works flawless but probably not with his super custom Volvo tune.

If boost limit isnt high enough now, wouldnt that indicate that at this time it is not behaving right?:nail:

You mean along the lines that an exhaust housing tight enough to spool at 1100 is too small at 2100. Nonsense, maybe on inferior US made stuff.

Funny you mention low boost/better mpg scenarios, I think Rick is running the factory turbo yet. That is enough to ruin fuel mileage right there.

At least I'm not completely out of my mind, for thinking so..I'm sure too big turbo will be more problematic ...
