Hey guys the 3 pin triangle on the older and 3 pin weather pack is the J1939 data port correct? And isn't this the port that most tuners and boxes hook into correct? I'm not much for vp engines, just the old 12 valves. Lol

Long story short, I Pissed up the seal robbing the motor off a new 150 I had on the shelf. Turns out the motor was fine anyway. But I looked at the seal and thought I could do better. Measured it up and ordered up a replacement dual lip SKF seal from McMaster Carr. Had it here the next day. And...
Ok guys got a problem. Borg s300 phatshaft from ii doesn't take the same bearings as a regular s300. Factory s300 o.d. on the bearings is .75". The ones I took out are around .81". Am I missing something or? Bought a severe duty rebuild kit and don't have the right bearings....
Just like the title says. Would need to have it before the end of the week, otherwise I'm hogging it out to the 12 valve square ports. One stud hole for the turbo has been fixed. Drilled out and a thread reducer put in. Works great! Let me know what ya got! Would sell for the right price!
What are you guys using for thread size in the 5.9's oil galley and coolant plugs in the block? Behind the tappet cover, behind the front cover and trans plate. Front and rear I believe 1/2" pipe will work but curious if I should drill the others out to fit a pipe thread or? Thanks for the info...
