Anybody out there running a 16.5 wheel on one of these trucks? Im considering getting a set of 12 bolt h1 military take offs recenterd to 8x6.5 to run on my rig (rubbers stupid cheap for them) run them on my old 1/2 ton ford but not sure if the 16.5 will fit on the chummins. Any input?

Wondering about a large single turbo good for 750hp+, considering this route or possibly a set of Aurora twins later in the year from Scheid, found a turbo from them that's a 3x3 with 1.10 turbine housing and 4.2 compressor housing outlet, not sure what size it is exactly but its only 1400 $ so...

How do you tell if your turbo is going out? Check for shaft play? I've also been told an not sure if its true but if it wont black smoke that its going bad

HAve recently aquired a 12 valve engine and upon tearing into it discovered its junk ive posted in the wanted section about a 12 valve but im wondering from you more experienced guys would i be cheaper off to buy a 115$ block and assemble a pulling motor myself?

Ok so ive got my tranny pan off, the 2 small plugs on the solenoid unhooked and unboltd but the main big plug runs up and im not sure what all ive gotta take off to get at it? Does the valve body have to come off? Truck is a 2004 diesel
