I have a industiral motor and curious the piston difference? I confirm they have different piston by using Cummins Quickserve. If/when I go with bigger injectors I would like to know correct spray angle to get. Quickserve didn't have any info on the spray angle unfortunately.

How do you guys prime the oil pump? Just pour some oil in to the back side just to get the inside gears wet? I've read of using grease but would think that could cause a oil passage blockage.

I don't mind pulling the cam to replace timing housing gasket but what I'm concern about is disturbing the headgasket from removing the rockers. I know that some guys pull the cam off and heat the gear up around 300 degrees. How successful is this approach? I understand that cummins does it...
