WTB D80 or similar rear axle for my 1st gen

Instead of paying ~$1000 for a rear disk brake conversion for my stock chewed-up 3.07 Dana 70, and another ~$1000 for a limited slip, I'd be super happy to put the money toward a new axle that already has those things. So does anybody have a good axle laying around with limited slip and disc...

Upgrading brakes. Is there any new wisdom with hydroboost conversions? Kits?

I'm looking to replace my braking system, between my pedal and slave cylinders. I'd like to go hydroboost. Does anybody have experience with any of the "conversion kits" or have a list of parts to buy? I don't have access to any good junkyards, and I'd rather use new stuff. But I'm a...

What years does this DPF fit? What's it worth?

I paid $350 for this turkey back in 2010, I was going to put it on my first gen or something. Is it worth anything? Anybody want it? It's supposed to be off a third gen 6.7. Does that mean it fits 07-13 6.7's? Thanks.

Looking for a driver's side door latch

Anybody know where I can get a driver's side door latch? There's one plastic piece in there and wouldn't you know what broke on mine. Now if I lock it from the inside, I can't get it to reopen from the outside. The best I can find is $150 from LMC. Front Door Components

Good valves to use for dual tank setups; hydraulic valves?

Does anybody know good "high flow" valves I can use as tank select valves? I had the Ford Pollak valve but the thing is just tiny. I'd like to run bio in one tank and dino in my second tank. Isn't there some hydraulic valve that would work perfectly for this? Like this one? Hydraulic 6...

Can anybody tell me about this external wastegate? Is it worth anything?

I bought this thing in 2009 for $180. I probably didn't do too much research at the time and whatever I knew about it has been forgotten. I imagine the plan was to use it with an HY35. I figure it's one of these but how do I know which one? Welcome to Innovative Turbo Systems Is it worth...

Old injection pump, is it worth anything and does anybody want it?

I have a supposedly good injection pump I bought in 2011 and has been in a plastic bag behind my tool box for the last 10 years. What is it worth and does anybody want it? (I paid $400 for it as an insurance policy I never needed to use.) Part number on the pump is 8972080737. Would it be...

I need a new steering wheel

My original steering wheel is coming apart a bit so I could use a new one. What sort should I get? Is there a sexy pimp wheel out there? I was thinking one off an AMC.

BHAF's Revisited (looking up air filters based on dimensions?)

Since everybody was making fun of Big Honkin Air Filters last time they were brought up... I have been running a Donaldson EAF5067 for the last 10 years; now it's due for replacement and just a tad too big. Does anybody know how to look up good air filters based on dimensions? It ultimately...

    Spray-on rust preventative

My roof just started getting rust in the typical first gen place so I found who seems like a good body guy to fix it. (Said it'd be $1800.) Anyways, I imported my truck to the island last year, been wondering how I want to rust proof the thing. No visible rust on the body panels currently. But...

How do you index the throttle and why does my engine die when I give it throttle?

How are you supposed to index the governor shaft if you're starting from scratch? And does a mis-indexed throttle explain why my engine idles but dies when I give it any throttle? How'd I screw that up?

Loose steering column, how do I fix this?

Video, does this work? My steering seems tight (the wheels turn when the wheel turns) but the column itself flops and wobbles all over. Does anybody know how to fix this?

60 pound/ heavy duty valves springs for 12 valve

I still have a set of brand new white-striped valve springs for a 12 valve. Want em? Make an offer. Otherwise I'm considering using them for a suspension on my gate. Seems a waste. Brand new 60 pound 12 valve springs - Competition Diesel.Com - Bringing The BEST Together

    Old HY35 Turbocharger

I have an old nasty-nine HY35 turbocharger that I bought in 2008 and never did anything with. And I can't imagine doing anything with it at this point. It was a running take out. Anybody want it? PM me an offer.

    Old LB7 CP3 injection pump

I have an old LB7 CP3 injection pump. It is supposedly a good unit that I bought for $400 off CompD in 2011, that I ended up never using and recently found in a plastic bag behind my tool box. Make me an offer and it's yours. Might want to send me a PM because I'm liable to forget about...

We need to have a discussion on what a T4I flange really is

Everywhere I look I see the attached drawing referenced as a "T4i" flange, showing the bolt hole pattern to be roughly 3.5"x2.75". T4 flange vs T5 flange HE451 flange, what the Falalolololricks is it? - Competition Diesel.Com - Bringing The BEST Together name that flange!? | Dodge Cummins...

Has anybody made an engine brake for the B-series yet?

I've been hearing about somebody's machinist uncle making an engine brake for the B-series for 20 years now. Has anybody actually made it work yet? What's the closest anybody's gotten?

Has anybody actually seen or had a "ClutchFlite"?

The old legend of the putting a clutch in front of an automatic transmission, replacing the torque converter. So you launch like a manual but shift like an auto. Based on what I've read, these were "rather popular" in the 60's/ 70's but were obsoleted by better (and I imagine lock-up) torque...
