Ok fellas I don't know jack about 7.3s. I'm a cummins man and I wanted to try playing around with a 7.3. I know we're on compd and I know about searching. But can anyone answer why 7.3 trans's suck while stock?

I searched for about 2 hours and i still dont have an answer, some say you don't need to machine the rockers for arp studs and others say you do. So what is it?

I bought studs, new valve springs, new manifold, and turbo shopping now. Is there anything else I should change( like push rods ) for the truck? After this I'm not doing anymore work. I dont turn more then 3800rpms.

Well I finally got the swap done. And now5th gear grinds. It went from a little grind to not going into 5th at all and now it's a heavy grind. Only drove 3 miles. What's your guys opioins before I lose my mind

Well the trans blew today. No movement at all. Was half throttle. 22psi. Trans went into overdrive. BOOM SNAP!!!! Something defently snapped. Nv4500 swap will be this weekend ( as long as my valair clutch comes) If anyone is in need of pictures or has advice before I swap. Post it here!!!
