01 24v in my 98.5 bolt in?

I have a 1998.5 24v with a few miles on it and my buddy has a 01 24v motor with only a few miles on it.
Is this a direct motor swap?
I thought I remembered something about cam/crank sensors being different?
Any help would be great before I end up with a motor I can't use.

98.5 has a crank sensor, the 01 doesn't.

youd probably have to use the 01 ecm.

would get harness too, couple of sensors are a bit different. but body harnesses are the same
