03 Hot start issues

Buddy has an 03, and it starts fine cold, but requires ether when up to operating temps. No codes, replaced injectors a short time ago.

The truck is bone stock.

Do you have a rail guage? Ether bad! It's either the CP-3 or the PRV. Try capping the prv and see how it starts then. Just remember to put the PRV back on!

Ether is awesome... you have to be certified though

I'll have him cap the PRV and let you know what he comes up with.

Check the lift pump pressure when hot.

My 03 does the same thing, but does not require ether to start just cranks a bit longer when hot.
