04 auto with Smarty

Been a while since I've been on here...

I'm looking at buying a late 04 with 141K, automatic.

I'd like to know how reliable the transmission is going to be with a good converter and valve body running with just a Smarty. I'll obviously have the gauges needed as well, but I'd like to know how far I'm safe to push the programming without risk.

SW5 on regular Revo, anything higher than that you are going to be running hot, and risk breaking something in the trans, IE input shaft or flex plate. I would have a good rebuild done and a billet input and flex plate. Then you can buy a turbo later and turn the tuner up, but you will have to be careful again as then the trans will be the weak point again. I have seen stock FP go below 500hp.

I would do a good fuel system ASAP if it has the pump mounted on the filter housing still.
