I have a 05 Dually with 142k miles. The truck has a clean OASIS (one Turbo and one EGR at 87k), I have a copy of it. The truck is at the dealer with Cracked Heads. I do not have the money to repair the truck, and can no longer justify having it. I have owned it for the past year and this is the only problem I have had with it. I have done Oil Analysis and the truck checks out fine there as well. I am asking 15000/offer. PM me for more pics, I will put some more up tonight after work.

Truck is loaded, leather, power seats, truck is in very good condition, interior is perfect. Gooseneck (I never used it)

Thanks, I'll get them up tonight

if you weren't in ohio, you better believe i'd take it!!
i can get pretty much anything warrantied with under 200k miles!
damn all the good deals are so far away.

It's not to far, you would enjoy the drive. Toss it on a gooseneck, or use my barn, put the heads on and drive it home.

May be willing to trade and possible cash on crew cab shortbed 3/4 ton 4X4 or 2X4 diesel/non-diesel GM, Ford, Maybe Dodge still under warranty

OK, 85 views and two comments, how's my price? Am I to high? Be honest.

And in case it isn't clear I meant would trade truck and pay cash for the right truck.

What is the dealer offering on a trade right now? I have an 05 King Ranch Dually 4x4 loaded with 55k miles on it and I am thinking I could not get 15k for it.

15k for a truck with 142K on the clock IMHO is a bit on the high side..to fix teh problem properly you are close to 4k give or take..and thats not including the cost of brand new heads..I wouldn't even know where to start on price for them..but lets JUST SAY 2k for both..

15K+4k+2K= 21k for a fixed truck but still very high mileage.

No the heads aren't off, I believe it is only one head, but I'm going with worse case scenario. The dealer wants 4100, that includes headgaskets both sides, one head (Ford wants $1400, I'm pretty sure I could find a better price) and I would add studs (so $550 more).

Thanks for the opinions guys, HeinzBoy I really gotta think you could get more than 15k, but it's all based on the market.

If I have to keep it and fix it in the spring, I will, just wanted to see if I could sell it, pay it off and get something more practical for me right now.
