05 Front seal replacement

I have tryed serach with no results.

How big of a job is it to change the front crank seal?
Is there any special tools needed?
Any tips or tricks.

You have to lock the flyheel to get the balancer bolt out. It'll be damn tight. Seems kinda odd for a front seal to be leaking bad enough to change though. You will need a specail tool to hold the flywheel through the starter hole. Another company also makes one that goes through the inspection hole in the bottom of the tranny bellhousing.

Your also gonna need a special tool to install the seal
