07 Dodoge Steering wheel stereo buttons, anyone added?

So I would like to change my steering wheel and add stereo controls.

Has anyone done this?

My truck is a 07 Mega Cab.

According to the dealer the clock spring is the same with or without the controls and as I'm adding an Pioneer Z3 and have the Adapter required already I was hoping it would be as easy as adding the steering wheel with the buttons then just tap into the wires at the column and go from there.
