08 f350 150,000 miles. is this to many miles.

I found an 08 f350 4x4 drw. It was a fleet truck. It has 150,000 miles on it. They want 14,000 for the truck. Now the part I'm worried about is that the truck was a fleet truck. I know how hard my friends are on the company trucks. Do y'all think this would be a good truck for the money.
 
I would see if they have all the service history on paper first. 150K isnt bad but if its been ragged out and had poor service history then I would pass.
 
I was going to call and get the vin in the morning and see if I can get a report on the truck. I will post some pics later tonight or in the morning.
 
Its a 6.4 in it. It has a black grill and head light housing. Cloth inside. But it does have power windows and locks. I'm not sureabout power seats yet. I'm just afraid of the miles on the truck.

08 base model trucks are cheap. price doesn't surprise me.

tons of 6.4's on Craigslist around here... ALL of them are 08's... 99% of them are Job 1 trucks.

think about that for a minute
 
It being a basic truck is what I like. I could throw some 19.5 wheels and tint the windows. H&s and 5 inch exhaust and hook to the horse tariler and roll with it.
 
I see what y'all are saying. I found an 06 Cummins I'm going to go take a look at this weekend. And its a 6 speed. Less problems for me in the long run.
 
unless it had a radiator issue, thats about the only regular issue the job 1's ever had. i wouldnt hesitate to buy it at that price. it probaly has another 100 in it easily, may have to replace water pump , alternator, or brakes... but thats about all i could think of.
 
I have a job 1, forget the haters the 6.4s are great. I would be all over that deal.
