Pat let me take Casper to LACR for some shake out runs last night. Did ok for the first time out on a truck that was not drivable Friday.

My best was 11.556 @ 119.60 with a 1.76 60ft. :woohoo:

Well the best I can figure is a DA of 4620ft with 10 mph head wind.

Pat is going to work on tuning today.

This was with same tires he has been running. He didn't have time to swap the tires for me.
 
So far we are still on the stock injectors and virgin #2 fuel. Need to play with bigger injectors. Certainly more than the 625hp maximum claimed by TTS from stock sticks.

My old tuning did not work well either, which I knew would be the case. Kat was dying to run the truck:

"Pat, did you know LACR is open tonight?"

"Man, I'm beat, I'll run it tomorrow."

"Well, if I do the baseline tonight, you can work on the tuning tomorrow."

"Well, I suppose...."

ZOOM!!!! Damn, she scared the dog she ran out of the house so fast. She called me an hour later that she was at the track. Uh, it takes 90 minutes to get there. :eek:

WOW....... I bet that "un-tuned" truck is almost as fast as ANY Dmax on # 2. That thing is gonn'a be sick when Pat gets it into the sweet spot!

I'm just breaking it in for him... It's a tough job but someone has to do it :hehe:

I probably won't get a chance to run it in Vegas... Unless I make a pass on Friday :drool1:
