We hit 1272hp in the drag truck on Friday blew a head gasket but got it fixed in time to drive 5 hrs to the Thoroughbred and take the Unlimited class up there then drive back home, nice 40hr no-sleep adventure.

The Next one did 1149 but I could tell by the way the graph looked I was getting tire spin. I knew peak power shouldnt be at 5000rpms. Here is that vid.

Next I adjusted how I ran the truck and the rpms I started at so it would reduce the tire spin when the nitorus hit and we hit 1272hp. Pretty sure thats a record on a single s366 LOL.

I blew the head gasket on that run you can hear it go off like a bomb. Its just a stock cr head and a stock MLS gasket. So we pulled the head and replaced the gasket and pulled the motor to get to the blown freeze plug right then then loaded it in the trailer and drove 5hrs to the Thoroughbred for their dynoday. Once up there figured out something must have happned to an injector because it has a dead miss and running on 5 cylinders so not sure what it will do on thier dyno. Here is that video...

It wound up with 943/1800+ on 5 cylinders and also just absolutley ROASTED the tires on the rollers. You can see the tire smoke come out from under the truck.
So now have to figure out why its missing then get to a track and see how it does with the extra hp. There were some more vidoes from the Thoroughbred dyno and I will post them up if I get ahold of them.
