Got a 89 12V Cummins that just stops for no reason. Has new transfer pump, plenty of fuel, and fuel is getting to injectors (cracked lines to verify). I am in Wyoming, but the Jelling is not a problem(yet). What should pressure be coming out of transfer pump so I can verify I have not got a new defective pump? Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

the truck isn't going to just stop because of the lift pump...

if it's just shutting down like you reached up and turned off the key, it's probably your fuel shut-off solenoid and or circuit. clean the contacts on it first thing

Yep, next time it just "shuts down" on you. Dont touch the key. Get out, open the hood and look to see if the shutdown solenoid is still up, or down.
