I sold mine on cf for 50 bucks each, sold in less than 30 mins. Should have charged more LOL. I wish I had more to get rid of.

I took it out but the trans shifts better with a plate in it even when i tried adjusting the tv cable without it in. I was wonder if it would be good to get one.

If your trans is stock then I would use your stock plate and custom grind it with a mild bottom end nose and taper it into your top fueling profile that would work with your air that's available. The reason for this is to let your trans pressure come up and allow your clutches to reach full engaugement before hard fueling it reached. Saves on trans until you build something that will take abuse. This is just my 2 cents.

I think the fuel is making extra power and slipping it.

Which is pretty much what what Ponci said, but his was more intelligent.

If that's the case cut a #100 plate for your truck. I will still have a plate in my trick when it comes back out.

Use your stock plate and grind The desired profile with a grinder. A little patience really pays off with this.
Good luck bud

A #5 or #6 plate is a great starting point for you. Google images and grind your stock plate from there. The bottom nose is your starting point and follow a nice curve from there. Remember to check your gov arm height with the fuel shutoff arm in the up or run position. Always check that at any plate position.

If I knew where my extra stock plate was at I would grind it to a 100 plate and sell it to you for $150.

It's your stock trans. It your money. Prepair to spend with a 100 or even a 10 plate on a stock trans. Not enough nose on the bottom. I wouldnt do that to my customers and expect them to come back after there trans takes a ****. I would feel guilty as hell knowing I could have prevented a costly expense before there ready to upgrade.
