Somebody might remember my last topic from 2011 about my new dailydriver Skoda
http://www.competitiondiesel.com/forums/showthread.php?t=104520&highlight=Skoda
Now it have more than 190 000 KM with bit less than 4 years.

So time is flying and today was the day for new daily driver , this time I got visually similar Skoda Superb ,just facelift, the engine is the same 2.0 TDI with 125KW, but now its with DSG gearbox and 4wd, full Alcantara interior

One picture is worth more than 1000 words

I like it. :rockwoot:

Tomorrow I try to arrange picture with both side by side

Damn that's pretty. Hate the wagon but the front of that is beautiful! We need a fricken AWD diesel car over here in the states.

I have run only 100 km, today start snowing and it have still summer tires.

All I can say, it's pure fun.
With summer tires and on icy/snowy road it feels more like rear wheel drive car and it takes long before electronics start acting.

The DSG feels more like manual gearbox than regular automatic.

In our company we have few similar Superb 4x4 with DSG, but with (105Kw) 140hp engine and it feels bit underpowered .

The 175hp (125Kw) engine is way better.

Sweet car. I LOVE the DSG gearboxes. Audi A3's were so much fun, and the "blip" sound as it shifts is nice too.

One special thingbin Superb, there is more legroom in rear seat than in Audi A6

Here picture old and new, side by side.

As you see the facelift is minimal, bit different grill, headlights and bumper

I love the feeling of it shifting. Feels very manual when using reverse. I was impressed how well it didn't feel sloppy in snow or ice.

Update
Last week I did 1500mile trip, its best car I have had.

Handles well on snow and icy road, comfortable , fuel milage approx 39mpg.
