1971 Triumph TR6

Approx. $30,000 in restoration costs

Complete, documented ownership history

I purchased the car in 1997 out of PA.

New top in 1997.

Restoration started in 1998

Frame off, repaired (rusted member replaced), & powder coated in 1999

Tach & Temp gages overhauled in 1999

Carbs were rebuilt by Apple Hydraulics, NYC, NY in 1999

Engine rebuilt, new valves valve seats to accept unleaded gas installed in 1999. *No oversized bearings, pistons or piston rings were required in rebuild all standard size components were used as everything was in tolerance. Electronic ignition installed. *Numerous original components were saved and go along with car. *i.e. Distributor, Starter, steering wheel, etc.

All new interior and carpets installed.

Complete paperwork and receipts are on file for every part used in the restoration.

Bodywork was startled in 2002 and completed in 2003

Restoration completed 2005

Driven only 916 miles since restoration completion

I'm selling this for my father, as of right now it is located in Norman OK area just south of OKC. Depending on how the interest is I may bring the car to Wichita KS.

We are asking $18 500 OBO

I now have the triumph in Wichita KS. I also have more pics of interior and under side. Since photobucket is screwing me around like many others pm your cell and I can send pics and video of cold start up. The carbs are freshly rebuilt, as in this last week.

I also have a Factory Five Racing Cobra up For Sale and will be posting an add soon.
