1990 F-800 7.8L P-Pump?

Truckless
I have not seen this truck, a fellow I work with asked me if he could put a 4K GSK in it. He did not have pics of the pump, just the labels. He said it's a 1990 F-800 with a 7.8L Ford/New Holland engine. Max RPM is 2600, he wants it to pull to 3000-3500.

These are pics of the labels. The second pic is something bolted on the side of the IP. You can see the label at the bottom of the first pic.

Anybody know anything about this pump? Is it a P7100? Is the governor like the governor on our pumps? And, for my curiosity, what is that bolted on the side with a separate label?

It is a P3000 pump, has transfer pump bolted to the side. RQVK governor is very similar to governor on dodge P7100. 3 or 4k springs will work just fine in that pump. Just be careful you don't throw engine parts on the ground at that rpm. Hope that helps.

I had an old brochure on those engine a few years ago. Ford rated them for 3990 rpm before valves floated. Of course, there's lots of variables. Besides, a 4k GSK doesnt generally take these bigger engines to 4k. They stop at around 3600-3800, depending on fueling and timing.
