1995 dies throttle blip in gear

I need some help from my 2nd gen brothers and sisters.
A girl brought over her 1995 auto, completely stock, and in the last day or so it started almost dying if you turn the wheel at idle and dies if you blip the throttle in gear. If it was a 1st gen I would suspect the pump.
I drained the fuel filter just in case it was water.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mark

Is the pump stock? Have the gov springs been messed with?

Mine did this until I loosened the gov springs a click or two and adjusted the idle. My springs and pump had been set for the 5-speed, but when I put it in front of the auto in the '98 I had to adjust it.

Looks like it is a worn idle adjuster. I don't have experience with auto Cummins and didn't know the idle needed to be higher than what hers was.
Thanks for the help!
Mark
