The engine after being pulled from the donor. Miss that old truck drove it for three years till the cab and frame rotted out.

Here's the transmission I planned to use when I started this incarnation of this project. It's the reason I found this forum. Looking up info to put a 13sp fuller into a F550

I lengthened the one factory mount slot 2 1/2 in to use the reworked stock first gen mounts.

I'm thinking I need to pull the driver's side mount and rework it to take the strain off of the isolator rubber.

Right after I set engine in the truck. The heater box was wrecked by the guys that removed the 7.3 before I got the truck so I didn't worry about taking turbo off.

I'm using the stock first gen exhaust manifold with original turbo, would like to put bigger turbo on it someday right now just saving my pennies to get it mobile enough to move around the farm so I can get on the body work I need to do to close in between sleeper and cab.

I need to put a spacer in so I can rotate the turbo back down.

Since where I live superduty parts are impossible to find in salvage yards I used part of a f150 throttle pedal and removed the position switch from stock pedal and welded them together to make my own.

I know I'm kinda low dollar for some people, but that's how I roll.

That's where the sleeper mounts? You need to infill now?

Sleeper position isn't set yet haven't decided whether or not stacks will end up on the back of the sleeper or between sleeper and cab, plus I haven't decided whether or not I'm going to raise the roof of the cab about like the cardboard in this pic.

Little tiny short video of the old 5.9 running again after two years of sitting around.
