Anyone got any leads on what's next for these? True bore 2.55" t4 turbo is our rules limit. Also who's in the race to break 1k on a true bore?

i'm looking to buy a turbo right now - 63mm

Cotpc is locked until 2017 season so for this year and next, we are staying with what we got. We are not true bore so I am not in the race.

IMO its the same 2.xx dimension before and AFTER the MWE I would consider true bore.

I highly doubt that ,850hp is all that can be gotten from a straight bore that measures 2.5 before and aft the mwe grove.

That's what I have heard also. Any one running the high dollar stainless diesel 2.5?

Define "true bore"

Here in MO, 2.5 "true bore" is supposed to
Be no larger than 2.55" in front of or behind map groove.

The stainless diesel charger is not 2.5 before and after the mwe!

A buddy is running one on a new set up in COTPC.. Only had 1 hook so far but seems like a nice piece. Significantly over priced tho.

but that was on a engine dyno, so 850 is at the wheels seems right

Yes seems like the 2.5 class has so many variations of the rules.

The truck that Tony helped build is not a true bore charger. I have teched it before and seen it before. I know the truck owner James Jones.
