Been doing some research to see if a 2000 47re would fit in a 98 12valve, seen on DTR that we can either swap the sensor for OD to work or put an inline 1000 resistor for the trans temp to work properly. Wondering if there's anything else that should be done in regards to line pressure and other things? Any info would be very much appreciated. Thanks

I would take that the vb harness and transducer from the 2000 trans would need to be installed in the 98 for line pressure I'm guessing?

My trans and tcase came out of an 02.

I swapped the vb harnesses and solenoids. Works like it should and was easy.

The 98 harness and transducer will need to be used in the 2000 trans when installed.

Sorry, that's what I meant to write. Thanks for the info guys, hopefully I'll be able to swap it today/tomorrow? This 98 12 valve started with a blow diff. which we've replaced, then ended up with a blown tcase & cracked tail housing on trans. Found a fully built 2000 trans w/tcase and can't really pass up the price for it.
