2008 f550 cummins 12v swap

My dad has the opportunity to buy and 2008 ford 6.4 with a blown motor at a great price, he was wondering what all is going to requires to make a 12v cummins work.

I know destroked has all the parts but is everything needed in that kit for $5600

Also has anybody ran into any problems doing this

A kit is the easiest way, I used DCS and personally really happy with their quality and over the counter experience.

It will be worth it in the end. Just count on a bit of time tuning transmission if you do not run a manual or a dodge powertrain.

So getting the ford transmission to shift right is going to be an issue
