2wd nv4500 output endplay

I picked up a 2wd nv4500 for my fummins until I build an auto. It was supposedly rebuilt not all too long ago. It seems like the tailshaft has quite a bit of side to side play. Is this normal? Tomorrow, ill see if I can measure how much. This is the only 2wd vehicle I've ever owned in my entire life so I'm not used to these long tail housings. I'm just curious if this is semi normal or if I should pull this thing back out.
