39 dodge welding rig

Yeah after being on non op and change of ownership I have to get it weighed and brought in so they can verify vin and lights turn signals etc etc

We're very lucky here. Just bring the BMV papers with cash and we're fine to drive.

Firewall and floorboard are tacked up. Aired up the bags and rolled it out to get the shop cleaned up. Got the Injection pump back and cam so motor will be put together tomorrow so I should be able to get it painted then too.

What brand steering column is that? My Summit column fell apart after 3 months and I need a good replacement.

This thing is looking good..nice work! Have you considered building some steps to get into the cab? That would help smooth out the transition between the narrow cab and the utilitie bed. In line with the outside of the front fender. Industrial grating would look good, and let the mud fall through. I love these old body style trucks though, i just can't fit into them. Should be a head Turner for shure.

Lol yes throttle will be on the floor. Steering column is from pro header. Seems to be pretty decent but we’ll see.
Thanks! I have the original steps for it. Driver side is on just haven’t gotten around to the passenger side yet.

That looks nicerer ?. Saw you have the Lincoln 210mp. I liked mine till it got stolen, it's a solid little unit.

Yeah they are sweet little rigs but definitely miss the 256 I had access too not long ago. Much better fine tuning

Motor is painted, finishing up welding the firewall and floor board then in with the motor.

Progress has been very slow lately but I’m not giving up on it. Came into the new job runnin but plan to get to this thing ready for drivelines soo

I saw a sign on facespace yesterday that made me laugh and think of myself.

It said "I never finish anyth

:hehe:

:lolly: my project list is growing but hopefully I’ll be able to cross this one off it

Parts are coming in again. Got my dual disc, new door latch parts, and seats. Working on building some seat risers, once that’s done I can figure out where I’ll set my peddles. Going to shave the door handles and install a keyless door popper setup along with power windows I like powered things :nail:

Lol would love to make them visible but don’t know that I want to draw more unwanted attention from the cops than it already will
