3rd gen battery size?

I'm pretty sure they're group 27's. Just want to make sure. I have to get batteries today while I'm at work. Thanks.

Nevermind. Ordered Interstate Mega-Tron 27's.

Actually they are group 65, though some people have gotten a group 31 to fit with a little minor surgery.

How does the 27 you bought fit, and what CCA / reserve is it?

They're a little narrower and taller. They don't fit into the lip on the fender side of the trays because of them being a hair narrower. They fit though, just need some extra hold down love.

Here's a link of what I bought. Lists them as 810 CCA. Even though the mtp-27's i bought are clear sided.

Man I been running just one driver side battery that's 700CCA's. I hope it's not bad for it.
