3rd gen. dodge locker quetions

Can you weld the carrier on these like you can on the 2nd gen trucks and still have the ability to turn fine when not in 4wd??
 
No. The front axle does no have disconnect.
You could do it with hub locks though.
 
I run a electric locker from a power wagon in my puller.
You could do the same
 
I just put a Detroit truetrac in mine. Now im having trouble keeping it lit so I would say it works.

How long have you had it in yours? I have seen several fail after a season or two. The magnets just aren't strong enough to keep them locked.

I'm on my fourth year pulling with mine. Also used it a lot in my younger days of playing in the mud.....:doh:
 
Anyone who sells gears and lockers should be able to get them. Try Greensburge Machine.
