So I have heard a couple people talk about running a 3rd gen head to help with airflow. I have tried searching and cant find any info on what needs to be done to make it work or if it is really worth doing at all. Does anyone have any insight into this for me???:charger:

Why do you say that? I have heard from a couple guys that it makes a world of difference

because I had one and saw very little gain with it. I call bull on the world of difference. spend the money it will cost you to swap to a cr head and port the vp head.

Ok thank you. Ive always thought that personally as well but as I said before Ive had guys rave about how awesome a 3rd gen head is.

You will need special cross over tubes, massage one water jacket n the front of the head, and relocate your IAT and MAP sensors. I can't tell you if it made a difference, but a CR head was easier to come by than a good VP head.
