I’m doing a rebuild on a 47re that was built back in 2009 by John @ floor it diesel. I ordered a 650hp kit from the guys at power driven. This is my first rebuild on a trans by the way so forgive my ignorance. Anyways my question is I’m sure the kit I’ll get from power driven will have a different ratio of apply lever. The valve body I was just going to pull apart and clean it up and slap it back together. If I use the apply lever from pdd will it affect shifting since the valve body was setup prior and running the apply lever that was originally put in the trans?

Also my next question behind the accumulator piston he put just a piece of pipe in it as a spacer I’m assuming. Is there a reason behind that? I was under the impression usually there’s a spring?

Once again sorry for the ignorance ?

If you got 12yrs out of the trans the way it was built and setup, I think I would keep the combo the same, just change out the clutches and other wear parts.
