mine isnt the same as the rear one, my front one is a compression sort of fitting and the rear one is the one with the teflon crap on it and i have the 47rh, i was thinkin about pulling them both, going to the hardware store and getting something that is threaded on one side and barbed on the other and replacing the two end fittings at the trans
i did exactly that, went to stines, bought barbed on one side other side threaded into the trans. just ran rubber lines from there up to a giant aftermarket trans cooler. i took out the factory cooler on the pass sidr under the turbo out completley and the factory small trans cooler in front of the radiator. doing that reduced my trans temps by 20 degrees while towing heavy.
It's 1/4 npt into trans. I used 3/8 stainless lines to front with a compression fitting at trans. Then went to power streering return hose from lines to cooler. It has higher pressure and temp ratings than most other off the shelf hose
