47rh Lock up Issues

Been having lock up issues with my Goerend. The tranny won't go into lock up after sitting for a while, you can drive for 30 minute and get o/d but it won't lock up, now if you park it for an hour or so hop in and take off lock up works just fine. Any ideas?

sounds like the solenoid or a sticking valve do you have a lock up switch have you tried putting it in manually

No I should have mentioned that, I don't have a lock up switch, I need to get one wired up

Put a multimeter on the rear wire of the trans connector. Go for a drive and see if it will throw a ground during a possible lockup event. That will tell you if its inside or outside the trans.

Out side of trans could be PCM, Broke wire from pcm to trans..

Inside solenoid, or valve.
