Released last night at midnight. Looking forward to this. I'm sure Hardway is gonna have their hands full for a while.

I am glad i am not the only one that has waited for this, hopefully everything will be done tonight.

Still stinks that you have to buy a Bully Dog to unlock the ECM. What a waste of money we have to go through. Oh well.

This looks a little better:st:

You have to buy a Bully dog? So a truck that has been running H&S can't just tune up?

Chris

Only one unlock per unit.

I have heard you can do 10 unlocks with one bully dog unit, your not leaving a tune on the vehicle, after you do the unlock, so it's not locked to your truck, you can use it on another vehicle

Ryan told me one truck unlocked per cable and GT. Bully dog goes around the ODBII port to unlock the ECM through a data link connector. EFI will not do anything they can do through the ODBII port.

So why can Bully Dog unlock it, but EFI live can't?

The unlock process requires communication via the under hood port. Our hardware is not designed to communicate via that module.

Given their is 2 solutions presently available (BullyDog and the sledgehammer approach) and a 3rd under development by another interested party, we won't be developing a solution that requires modification to our hardware.

Fleece Performance Engineering in conjunction with EFILive is pleased to announce a solution to switch off the Anti-Tuning measures for 2013-15 Cummins 6.7L ECM's. This solution eliminates the need to purchase additional hardware that will be used 'once only' to unlock the ECM prior to custom tuning.

Further details can be found in todays newsletter, or on our website. http://www.efilive.com

Cheers
Cindy
