That's a cool truck! It seems to fit the "rat rod" style perfectly.

What is that tall handle behind the shifter??

sometime soon ill get some underside.. all air ride, 4wheel disc brakes, 4 linked rear narrowed dana 80.. this truck is done well.. hopefully we can get this in Diesel power some day eh Chris?

yeah its a 2 stroke.. watch the video from my photobucket for a burnout this weekend to hear it run.. they sound like they are screaming but its only around 3000rpm..

I'd love to shoot it for a feature in Diesel World magazine! It's a great looking truck and I love the style of build!!! Hopefully we'll get a chance to get together and shoot it soon.:snoop:

... but in my side of the Earth you can find 2-stroke engines only in museum, and even in museum do not have 53 series .....:kick:

In my honest opinion, 2 stroke Detroit diesels are only good for turning diesel fuel into noise, also most of them leak oil so fast an oil change is seldom needed, just add oil daily. Never the less, owning a Detroit powered rat rod would be fun!
