I am having my transmission rebuilt right now. After tearing it down it did not have any fiber left on some of the clutches in 4th gear and the piston was blown out on the center support, so it was not getting pressure. I am not sure if too much pressure is what blew out the piston or not. I am having the pressure regulator and direct drive solenoids replaced, also. I have been running the looney wild tune for several months now and the truck has been running several of DJ's looney tunes for 40,000 miles. I am having a precision Industries torque converter and shift kit installed, also. Once I get the truck back do I need to get new tunes with less line pressure because of the shift kit?
