We've been at this build since May lol... I've made decisions that have delayed the build but for the better. We ran into a cracked head during teardown, I was persuaded to add more fuel by Bigr and I decided to beef up the rotating assembly.
The engine was stripped to add new Carrillo rods, Elite HD coated pistons, Elite stage 1 heads, APR head studs, Elite 110 injectors, II Dragonfire I got used from Roger Smith, Elite flex plate, Steed Speed mani's and a No Limit double welded intercooler.
Chargers are BEP S366 and two S362's. I've had them for a couple years now and despite all the negative I am still gonna try them.
I had the rotating assembly balanced and the motor was reassembled. Now that it is winter I told Jordan at Dirty Diesel that he has all winter to finish the turbo set up. Here is where we are at...
They have welded up the piping now and will be fabbing the waste gates soon. Once they have done that he will put it in the chassis... Then the mounting and plumbing will start for the atmospheres.
I'm hoping it will be running by March. In that time I will probably rebuild the trans, get a better TC. But no purchases have been made yet. I've been waiting for the bigger DPC TC for the 5R110. I've have other plans as well but they will be postponed till next winter.
