Whats got to be done to make this work on a 12v? Looking at it im thinking I have to take quite a bit off the backside of the damper to make it clear the timing case and is this possible without wrecking the dampner? Thanks

Basic gist of it: It's not worth it.

Unless you already have one just sitting around.
