6.7 swap communication woes

Swapping an 08 6.7 into a SD for a guy that bought my short bed truck. It is wired up with like this.

Can C bus (+) to pin 6 on the OBD 2 connector

Can C bus (-) to pin14

Both of these are straight off the ecm into the connector. I can read codes and clear them with an autocal but it will not upload the tunes. I get an Error $0502

any thoughts?

Do you have power to 16 and ground to 4 and 5?

Yes I do. Like I said, it will scan codes but gives me the $502 when I go to tune it.

That was the only Can C I seen on the ECM so it has to be the right one?

0502 usually means you need to go in and reprogram the autocal. Plug it in go to bbx in scan and tune. Make sure the correct ecm is checked in both the scan and tune option then right click the program button. Do the format then the slower program option.
