1978 F150 with a Cummins 4bt mated to a ZF5 trans
4x4 short bed, regular cab
I did have it listed several mths ago for almost a full day, my phone was blowing up with calls & I just couldn't sell so I took it off!
I really hate to sell but I just don't have time to finish this project!
I'm going to try to list all the parts that's on the truck & the work that's been done not to mention all the parts that I have that's not on the truck, like the other bed that's been sandblasted & primed!
All work & parts were done within 8-9 mths
Cummins 4bt VE motor that's been rebuilt & was finally install at 120k miles
Billet adapter plate from Allmaras Machine in OR. to the ZF5 speed (which had been gone thru also) & NP205 transfer case ( been thru with all new seals)
TMR Customs transfer case bracket
All new u-joints & new front driveshaft
4" lift with front & rear springs etc...
All new suspension & body bushings
New front lockouts
Brakes with new front rotors
35" Discover tires
The wheels & hitch was powder coated satin black by Kustom Koatings
MTS 33gal plastic fuel tank
Fass Titanium 150 pump
VE pump was went thru by Mountaineer Diesel has a 4000 spring
CPP 75hp injectors
H1C turbo
ARP head studs
AFE Pro Dry air filter w/pre filter sock
New radiator
Sinister Diesel coolant bypass system
Isspro fuel, boost, egt & oil psi gauges
TinyTach rpm gauge
All new window seals
New heater core
Bully stainless steps that I sprayed with plasti dip
Truck is my DD, runs great, gets awesome fuel mileage & is a Hugh Head turner!! I've taken it on 2 long trips, 1- 16hr & 1-12hr! I'm sure I left stuff out because its just Too much to list!! I've never had it off-road!
Things that need fixed;
The power steering pump foams fluid out & think that air is trapped but I got the parts to change it to hydro boost brakes, that's why I hadn't fixed it yet! I have another power steering pump & hydro boost to change over to the new system.
Horn needs hooked back up; I bought a grant steering wheel w/horn button & the horn button keeps popping off so they are sending a new one.
It's a F150 Not F100 & has no Bondo in it!!
Body that needs fixed before painting;
Floor pans because there's rust there & bed
Passenger cab corner because of hole ( not from rust)
Passenger door has a crease in the bottom
Interior needs done also
I was going to do the inside & outside at the same time.
