96 12v cutting off at WOT??

Like the title says my 96 12v cuts off when I put the peddle all the way to the floor! It starts and runs fine as long as you dont floor it.... But today I was looking around the SOS and with the truck running.. I can easily pull the SOS down with one finger??? Am I supposed to be able to do that? and can that be the reason its cutting off??:nail:

Subscribed. I've been fighting with mine doing that too and I was hoping the new fass would fix it but no such luck

Had a fellow puller that had problems shutting down at full RPM on the line. Found out it was his throttle linkage somehow hitting the fuel shut off lever and killing the truck.

Sounds like a rigged up hand throttle on a street truck, Kino!

It was a pedal style linkage, but i don't know how he had it set up. It was an original 12v truck, so I wouldn't see why he would use anything other than the factory linkage.
