99 24v Cam into a 96 12v = Budget upgrade?

Buddy of mine is buying a cam for his 24v.

free 24v cam sitting there

My 96 has an electric Fuel pump and is in need of a cam.

Worth doin the swap >??

was thinkin straight in and straight out... same lifters.

although i'm sure most of you would say thats a dumb move.


Just not too sure what to do for a cam these days. Have had alot of suggestions to run with Hamilton or Colt

I dont think there's much difference inbetween 2 besides the fuel pump lobe.

Your probably going to want his tappets as well since they're worn to one another or regrind yours.

there is difference between the 3 styles of 12's and 24v's
