A little help with a 7.3 PLEASE

the truck is dying and has a terrible idle. symptoms comparible to water in the fuel yet it doesnt. if you burp the lift pump and drive immediately its fine for all of about 10 to 15 sec. then back to **** it barely breaks 40 mph and slowly falls back down. fuel filter replaced less than 2 weeks ago and also no codes any help would be appreciated

Have you checked the fuel pressure after the pump? What year is the truck?

hey pull the fuel filter and remove the plastic safe gards that ford installs to keep you from running the truck without a filter sometimes they can clog up right there where the fuel line comes into it

Have yo checked the ipr or cps?
